In an effort to boost transparency, Rahm Emanuel's new mayoral administration in Chicago today unleashed
an extensive online crime database, which lets citizens learn everything from which neighborhoods have the
best most pot dealers to whose beat a given arrest took place on. Normally this information is dumped unceremoniously every 90 days, but the online database is updated every day and goes back a full ten years - in case you're feeling nostalgic and decide to look up that guy who carjacked you back in '03.
Weirdest part of this story - hearing people talk about "the Emanuel administration".
